The colonial style gardens at The Wilmot Arms are delightful and a pure joy to be in. Their old world charm provide the perfect surroundings for the classic two storey Georgian building that was constructed in 1843.
    Past the vibrant display of colour and through the trees are glimpses of sandstone walls and a local church. Many historic buildings only a short stroll away.
   To our surprise we inherited a peacock with the property who now lives free in the garden. Nobody seems to know where he came from but Percy Peacock is now a very gorgeous permanent resident
