Three tables can seat up to 12 people but one couple per table is more usual. There are some interesting displays of 'finds' from the garden (bottles, jars, clay pipes etc) as well as prints and photographs of the old coaching days when the Wilmot Arms was a stopover for horses, coaches and passengers.

All the breakfast provisions, cereals, toast, juice, fresh and stewed fruit are waiting for guests as they arrive for breakfast, A pot of tea or percolated coffee is made on demand and a cooked breakfast is prepared in the kitchen.

Your hosts Dot and Mike have worked and travelled widely. Their extensive collection of books and memorabilia reflects their special interests in wildlife, gardening and colonial history.

This historic room was once the inn's main room but is now used for seating large dining groups and as a guest lounge. A TV, a games cupboard, books and magazines as well as an open log fire in winter, make this a warm and comfortable spot for a relaxing evening.

A small room at the top of the stairs has facilities for making hot drinks as well as a comfy chair and a fridge for guests' own food and drink.
